We like the positive, affirming attitude of the staff at the YMCA, where every child is supported and allowed to develop their own interests. We also appreciate the physical activity that kids enjoy at the Y, especially the swimming.
The programs were laid out very well and ensured the kids had a variety of activities to do. Staff and counselors are always very friendly. Shout out to Olivia Gross for always being very helpful.
The outdoor activities that they wouldn’t be able to do anywhere else, the pool time was huge for my daughter, and the time! It’s amazing to have a camp that has an option to drop off early
And pick up later without another large fee.
Great interactions and counselors. My son and niece were able to attend and they shared how they were able to make connections and each shared high points of their week at camp. Tori, Bri, and Silas were names mentioned by the kids that deserve a shout out. Thank you!!

Our kids have so much fun every Summer! Our youngest isn't an outside kid, but really loves going to H&K Summer camp. Olivia is amazing and really knows our kids.

My son has absolutely adored camp! He’s already asking if he can come every year. He loves that he gets to swim every day, archery is his favorite activity, and we love that he gets to be outside the majority of the time. Thank you for all your hard work!!

I enjoyed the fact that my kids got to play outside and learn new things like Archery, Fishing, swimming daily and getting to meet people from different parts of the community.
Swimming every day, lots of outdoor activities, it's like overnight summer camp without the overnights. My kiddo especially loved fishing. Really appreciated the provided lunch even if my kids didn't always like it I don't have to make lunch every day and that's a win! The drop off and pick up times work for parents who work a full 8-5, M-F schedule (so many summer camps are only partial day or run from 9-4).
