I heard from a lady at my son’s school in Tulsa that Owasso YMCA has the best swimming program in the Tulsa area (she said better than Miller Swim School). She said that the instructors are excellent and the facility is well kept and clean. I enrolled my son and have been totally impressed by the instructors and facilities! I didn’t know that I was supposed to re-enroll my son each month for swimming but Rose happily helped me when we showed up for swimming and were not on the roster. She got my son into a class so he could do his lesson and she brought me to her office to enroll. She was so kind and helpful and my son is learning so much! We have two other kids and they will all be doing swimming lessons at the Y in Owasso.
Love the open gym and family swim. Gives us the opportunity to be active as a family even in the winter.
Water fit classes
I like the atmosphere at the Y. There are people of all walks of life, all ages, all fitness levels. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming of all.

I chose to swim laps at the Hutcherson Y since it has the warmest lap pool in the city - or at least similar to the YWCA.
I love the classes. The teachers are top notch. The maintenance issues (out of toilet paper, bathrooms out of order, clocks that need a new battery, pool closed, etc.) are handled pretty quickly. The front desk workers cheerfully greet me when I come in and leave. They are wonderful to put in your class reservation for you if you forgot to do it. Kayla is the best!!
There is always something going on !! Whatever out I wanna do it is available if I want to be in a class and work out or if I just want to simply do the machine machines it’s all there for me

Variety and quality of equipment and programs
I love the EGym and the lap pool. The trainer at the eGym is polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and always upbeat. It's a joy to come and workout at this facilty.
I can come when I want and there is no pressure.
Flexibility
The instructors are totally engaged and positive, my daughter has built so much more confidence and learned so much more at this location than other Tulsa YMCA locations. Although this location may not have the bells and whistles of some of the other locations, they make up with it through the overall vibe of the facility, instructors and the staff, they are great!
Have been using the Egym and exercise equipment at Y. They are convenient, accessible throughout the week, and workers are helpful with information. .
Enjoy the weight room and recumbent bike but continually frustrated with the limited hours for the therapy pool and current water heater problems.

I love the extended hours. I like that it is family friendly. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I no longer participate in programs as my children are out of the house but they benefited greatly from the "team" and "explore" features of Y-sponsored sports.

Staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. The other members are social, friendly, and personable. Hard to quantify that type of culture, but do everything you can to support the friendly and collaborative culture.
