I recently returned to my mobile home and found grey and black smoke coming from the chimney. I called Burnwell and told what was happening. Within an hour a repairman was at my door. The problem was resolved in 1 1/2 hours. A mouse had built a nest in the intake line under the dwelling and clogged the system.
I do have to say however that if the air inlet to the furnace had a wire mesh screen over the end of it nothing would be able to get in and cause a near fire situation. I worry that the same thing could happen again. I am 80 years old and can't get under the house so what will be will be.
