Great instructor
Instructors are great! We've had a really good experience over the last years and months doing swim lessons through the Hampton Family YMCA!! We are looking forward to starting up again in January.
It was one of the best lessons my son has attended and we have attended 3 or 4 programs.

The swim instructors Ty and Ethan are fantastic and really try to stress the impact of water safety. My five year old learned a lot and we will come back.
My son is definitely improving on his water skills! Our only issue is with enrolling. Always wait listed but hopeful we will get a call because he’s really building up his confidence and don’t want to lose the momentum.
I attended the teen adult swim lessons and the instructors were always kind and were prepared with all the tools and equipment needed for the lesson and participants. They were knowledgeable on all the strokes and how to break them down. I liked how the instructors were open to what ever goals the participants had for themselves and met the participants where they were at and help them improve. Ty even called me to inform me of lessons being canceled because of the hurricane. These instructors really go above and beyond for everyone in the class. Overall a really good program and would recommended it to any teen or adult looking to improve or learn how to swim.
