Variety of programs, friendly and helpful staff, variety of exercise equipment, clean and well-run facility.
Ease of access.
I appreciate the variety. Some of the classes are crowded. Maybe you could consider additional classes for those.
I only take one class - Yoga with Sue E on Fridays. It's always well attended and same folks have been going for several years. I get a lot out of it.
I'm sure many other classes and instructors are great as I see others in my yoga class coming from them.
many classes available at no extra charge
Extra friendly staff.
POOL AND HOT TUB
That there is a wide variety of them to choose from and at different times.
Great instructors, lots of Zumba classes, clean and attractive environment
Everything is outstanding about the YMCA.
I have been a Y member for about 25 years. I enjoy the aerobic classes, body pump and yoga. The instructors are pretty awesome.
I would however, like to express my concern regarding females taking their kids into the adult locker room. I don't like it and neither do the other ladies. I spoke with a few of these ladies regarding the family locker room and some of them pretend that they didn't know and others have said that they don't like the filthy conditions of the family locker room.
Excellent group exercise teachers!
Equipment and free weights allow me to complete my workout efficiently.
LOVE your senior fitness classes.
Friendly employees, great facilities and awesome Schroeder swimming pool!!!!!
like the water classes
Freindliness and professionalism.
The music in the classes is often too loud... I have asked to have it turned down and even then I wear ear plugs.. Why is loud music associated with a "good "class. For example the Y cycle class, ( I have not been to one lately) The volume I was turned down when I asked, so that with ear plugs it was tolerable. The leaders of the classes have to shout in to the microphones to be heard!!!
The Saturday Zumba class in the large gym is an example... the music is so loud that I can not hear my music using ear buds in the cardio room. I checked the decibels and i got 92.(in the gym) which is above the number at which OSHA indicates that for a time period over 8 hours , ear protection is needed. So that is a class that i have some interest in but will never go to . Also I avoid the Y on saturday mornings due to the loud Zumba class.
I like the senior classes. I like that there are almost always enough cardio machines available. Staff is always friendly.
I Like that the facility is clean, large and the staff members are super friendly!
The environment, the diverse group of people and all of the lovely employees
There are things for all ages
Everything
The community of friendly and caring staff and participants.
All of it.
Love the senior classes. Instructors are great and the participants are fun and lively.
The diversity at the Rite Hite YMCA is impressive. This Y offers not only programming for all ages but is a place for people to gather with their friends. I love seeing senior citizens just hang out with each other, drinking coffee and talking. The little kids running around are adorable. And there's everyone in between! People of all ages, shapes, sizes, and ethnicities feel welcome at the Rite Hite YMCA. The staff at the downstairs welcome desk is simply fantastic...no matter what the request, they always answer with a smile. Thousands of people come through the doors because they feel comfortable and welcome at the Y.

Great variety in content and day/time availability
