Good variety and no pressure to keep up at the same level as the class instructors. Also friendly employees and members.
I only swim.
I would love some other fun options for seniors like tap dance and ukelele which i drive a distance to take.
The parkins class
I teach yoga at Rite-Hite.
They offer a nice variety of classes at no additional charge. The facilities and equipment are nice also, easy to access and navigate the spaces.
It is absolutely unacceptable that the hours of the Hite right height gym are still so limited however during the major Covid months the Y has constantly taken our money and yet has not offered us any more hours to be at the Y Saturdays and Sunday that is absolutely and completely wrong we demand more hours Saturday and Sunday at least until 5 PM. The televisions in the women’s locker room should be on an adjusted as they were before Covid you have all of these devices that are not being used and yet you are a constantly taking out money for the Y please rectify this ASAP
I have been in the Tuesday and Thursday cycle class for 7 years. Very good exercise to strengthen your arms and legs. We have shared many different instructors and they are all top notch. If you don't cycle outside it takes practice to endure an entire class. If you do cycle outside, this is a little different but in some other ways more enjoyable. Check out our schedule to find days and times that fit your schedule. Once a week is not enough. Also, 3-4 times is terrific! Get your groove going ! Look as good as me. I'm 75.
It’s clean, friendly, and everyone makes you feel at home. In addition it has swimming pool and all the necessary athletic equipments.
I know since the pandemic there has been an issue getting instructors for some classes

Amazing instructors and high powered classes. Lots of variety in the types of group classes that are offered, and there are many offered each day.
The building is kept very clean, and the employees are friendly.
I love all of the group exercise classes!
I love the group exercise classes, but there is a dire need for more instructors so the class offerings can be expanded and there are subs available.
I mainly use the exercise facilities and the staff are always helpful and they keep everything clean and tidy.
Diversity, availability, and staff engagement
Theirs everything you need to reach your goals
Enjoyed the ftiness classes and looked forward to using the pool.
I do independent water exercises!
In the past, I enjoyed being a part of the Y-55 group for Seniors. It has held me in good company with the friends I made in that group. Although the Y disbanded it quite a few years ago, we have continued as an independent group.
The Y has become a second family for me. In the pool. locker room, sauna, and halls, we meet and “solve” the world’s problems, and discuss the various aspects of our everyday lives!
Peace,

I really enjoy the water Arobics and the Zumba classes, and the price is right as a member and for the Zumba classes.
You meet friendly people, the YMCA also provided instructors to work with you that really help you meet your goals. Thanks YMCA keep up the great work.
Everyone is very friendly.
The Brown Deer Y is the most diverse, inclusive, racially “blind” organization in the city. We’re family there. We know and care about each others’ lives.
We celebrate the good that happens to us, and we comfort each other when life throws the most devastating challenges our way.
The building is great. The staff is wonderful. But the community is what makes the Y second to none in my book.
