For the most part, everything is great. You have a wonderful staff. Here are the areas that could use some work: 1. Music at the outdoor pool. It’s too loud and there is no place to get away from it. However, for the past week or so, it has greatly improved, and the volume is OK. Let’s keep it that way. 2. You hung pics of the guards, which is great to get to know them, but the top 2 rows are hung too high. They are small pics and you really can’t make out who is in the photo. 3. I know it wasn’t your decision, but the dividers in the shower in the Men’s locker room impede the flow of drain water. There is now standing water and the shower area smells. The shower drain wasn’t designed to accommodate those dividers. I’ve belonged for 29 years and it never smelled before. 4. In the boys’ locker room, the one sink doesn’t really work. 5. I would like to see a return to having a boys’ locker room and a men’s locker room. 6. It is great that you added some more tables and umbrellas in the pool area. How about another 2 tables under the blue awning? Lastly, and this is mainly for metro Y HQ, I think that on a member’s major anniversary of being a member, send a post card or e-mail saying, “thanks for being a member”. It reinforces a member’s sense of belonging. It can be done in 5 or 10 year increments. You are very good in sending thanks when I make donations.

Hi, am a senior citizen and I use the silver sneaker classes for the last eight years. I really don’t like the signing up 48 hours ahead of time, I wish you would do what you used to do and hand out the chits when you walked in

We went to the outdoor pool. The kids working the band booth were quick asking if my son was ready to take the test or needed to put his things down before testing.

Lifeguards are always attentive at Powell. (And encouraging to 2 young girls that were curious what it took to pass for green band). They had her give it a go in the shallow end so she could see what she needed to work on.

The ladies at the front desk were quick to answer a couple questions I had regarding guests.

Overall very good experience.

Lots to offer

I love the Y for the variety of programs it offers, and I especially like the way this Y offers programs for children. I'm 75 years old, but it warms my heart that this Y (and my old Y in Wisconsin) provide a healthy place for kids to learn and grow. After all, their wellbeing is our wellbeing.

Peggy at the front desk is very warm and welcoming. I enjoy the pool and the exercise room.

Open lap swim, power yoga and just all the fitness classes in general, and I loved swim team growing up.
