Cardio equipment
The variety of exercise options. Volunteer opportunities. The community that has developed around what I do there. The instructors.
I haven’t been active in some time, especially this year because of knee replacement surgery. And in the past, I’ve mostly utilized the weight room and guided training. What I can speak to, is the wonderful staff that I’ve worked with every step of the way. From the front desk, to the trainers, to the admin, everyone goes out of their way to do a really excellent job meeting my needs. And, it’s such a sweet facility.
I enjoy my experience at the YMCA. I appreciate the workers time and I enjoy the activities.
The environment is clean, friendly and diverse. I would love if schedules were printed with a “lady reviewed on” date! There’s cancellations and new Orin outs often and it’s impossible to follow those.

I've made some wonderful friends at the Y. The instructors take an interest in my physical fitness journey.
I miss Janet R. who retired from teaching Silver Sneakers ....but I am very pleased to see you have added Ian Forsgren as a yoga teacher. He is a fantastic teacher, one of the best in the city, and I like that there is now a yoga class mid morning during the week. As a retired person, I prefer to do yoga in the morning.
The facility is full of light and the locker rooms are always nice and clean. I also love that saltwater pool.
All around it is perhaps the best YMCA in the area.

There is a variety.
I love Monday mornings with Mary Singler - I go to both yoga at 10:15am and Silver Sneakers Classic at 11:30am. If I am in town, I do not miss my "double dose" of Mary. I also really like Friday morning Qigong yoga with Genevieve which is not so much yoga as tai chi, qigong and easy movement.
Great facilities, great weights, and childcare
Everything was unto date and very clean.

Group classes
I love taking body pump classes at the Y. In one hour I can work all my muscle groups using plates, hand weights, and the bar. It helps me improve my form and the instructors are very positive and approachable. Thank you!
I like to use the gym equipment. The daycare is a very good resource to offer. My daugI plan on participating in some of the classes soon.
I like the pool, the sauna, the steam room, the coffee in the morning.
Although I have not taken a class or used the fitness rooms I plan to use them--I like the potential they hold.

I love that the amenities and equipment meets a wide range of fitness needs and goals.
