Blue Ash Y certainly needs more swim instructors for private and group lessons. Several families I knew were put on a waitlist for months, due to a lack of swim instructors. They ended up going to other Y and swim teams. I think it is critically important to have enough swim instructors to train the beginner swimmers because they will be the source of the BASH swim team.

I love the swimming. I'm a swimmer. But, thanks to Covid, I've been out of the water for over two years. That means I am really rusty. And I am no spring chick.
But it doesn't matter at the Y. Everyone comes and exercises at his or her own pace. I know I'll eventually get back to my old mile three times a week. At least I hope I will. But it'll take time. And no one is looking at me like I don't belong with the big kids!
I love that the Y is for everyone. There are activities for everyone.

I only ever lap swim and I can consistently get an appointment for my preferred time. When I cannot, I have always been able to get one later.

Programs are good-application on smart phones and getting in need more explaining.
I like the warm water when swimming! Wonderful. I loathe it when it is so cold and I workout less because of the temperature.
I really appreciated the opportunity to take swim lessons as an adult. Although I have been swimming for a long time my stroke technique was not very good. The instructors were able to really help me improve my stroke. Highly recommended!

This year they have been well organized and thoughtful. We like that they are diverse and somewhat affordable. The kids seem to be learning the rules in a fun environment with friendly competition. The time commitment is not as intense as some other programs and it's a convenient location.

I don’t do the water aerobics but I heard they really need someone that that has some idea about water aerobics.
More and bigger speed limit signs! A lot of cars go through the parking lot way Too Fast. A person walking with a walker was almost hit as the car went right in front of them. Also sign’s saying PLEASE SLOW DOWN!
