Every staff member is extremely knowledgable and helpful. They will spend time chatting about different bikes, accessories, and/or service questions, even if I am not planning to buy something that day. Joe is awesome on the retail side and Mike is great to work with for service needs. Seriously, though, every single person working there has been very professional and knowledgable. I have bought 4-5 bikes and countless accessories over the years and I wouldn't even consider buying a bike or accessory anywhere but Hollands due to the excellent customer service.

I live in Nashville, Tennessee and when I was visiting my daughter in May we stopped in your shop and her daughter fell in love with the Sweet Ride bicycle. When I called your shop last week to purchase the bicycle for her birthday, it was assembled within a day and my daughter picked it up as planned! We've lived in Coronado for 10 years and bought several bikes at Holland's and although the products were great the services seemed less than great. I know several friends who have lived in Coronado for years and there were deals for them and favors etc.
Currently,....I think there may have been a ownership change several years ago or an uptick in customer care, either way the service has definitely matched their product lines now. Whether I go into the sales store or ask someone from the repair store for help I always get top notch service.
It seems like there has been some attention to a uniform training of the mission statement of the store. I guess in the past I thought it was real hit or miss as how your visit to the store might go, but recently I bought a electric Electra from Jacob, who is super, but I have stopped by to ask questions and buy little do dads since my purchase and all the staff I have encountered have been very professional. I haven't dissed Holland's , but in the years past I have not gone out of my way to recommend it either because I was afraid my friends who do not live in Coronado might get short shrift.
Yesterday I rode my bike around town running errands (and showing off :) ) and people kept checking out the bike and I was happy to recommend Holland's. Customer care to all customers pays off.😀
Glad we stopped by to check out their Brompton bikes, and was impressed with the selection and knowledge of the staff. Passionate and helpful. I already had one Brompton but decided to buy another... The service department is one of the best that I have ever worked with when serving a bicycle. Andy worked diligently on my Trek Madone when I broke a spoke on my back wheel. He gave me a straight answer to getting it fixed, and was able to do an entire tuneup with top level craftsmanship. It is very apparent that this team enjoys what they do. I will be back to support this shop while I am living here in San Diego.

The guys were very helpful and patient every time I came in to checkout the bikes. They helped me through the process until I made a decision. I know I want another bike and will definitely come back for my second bike. My boyfriend will be buying one from them as well!
