Purchased a secondhand bike and brought it in to Danny’s to have them go through it. Real easy to deal with reasonably priced and the work was done fast would definitely recommend.

I worked with Ken to pick out a road bike for my commutes in the city. He had lots of patience to help me find the right model/fit, I was able to trial 2 bikes and I ended up buying a bike that I love. Very good customer service, and they’ll take the time to answer all of your questions.

I had bought my bike 2 years ago from another bike shop up the street. When I modified it with an electric wheel I had an issue with the breaks I couldn't figure out easily. I tried calling the original shop 4 times to see if I could bring the bike in but had no response. I eventually walked in and tried to talk to the people there who said that because I modified the bike it was out of warranty (it already was because it was past a year so this was unnecessary to mention) and also that because it was modified it would break down more because it wasn't designed for the force. He begrudgingly took the bike to work on it. After close to week he gave the bike back for a break adjustment and I noticed no difference. My front wheel still squealed and my back would making a random whirring sound.
A winter later and I brought it to Danny cycles on a Wednesday afternoon and the service was night and day from my previous experience. Someone from the service center ( a gentleman with a long beard) took the bike, listened to my issue and immediately started looking at it. I could tell him and the rest of the staff were genuinely interested in repairing bikes. I left the bike overnight and had it back the next day. All issues solved, including removing a piece of packing that was carelessly left on from when I bought the bike.
I would highly recommend Dannys cycles to anyone and will be coming back for bike maintenance and to talk to the staff if I ever wanted suggestions on buying a new bike.
