The schedule of classes can fit my availability
The pool. But, u need more chairs and umbrellas for shade.
I like the option for private & semi-private swim lessons, the instructors are good! I do find it annoying that lessons are disrupted by kids jumping into the lap pool during the lesson, when the lane is clearly marked with a sign, and the same thing happens when people are swimming laps. I think the life guards might be afraid to enforce the rules but should be trained to do so!

The way is a very family friendly environment. The pool is wonderful. The Y offers many classes that everyone can participate in and enjoy.
I love the Y! Clean, great group exercise classes, lots of amenities. Only thing lacking is purified water. The water in Pasadena is not great, so having a nice water filtration system would elevate the Y even higher.

Pasadena is almost twice the distance from my house as it is from Arnold, my long time gym location. It is beautiful and clean, and the staff are very friendly. Especially, while Arnold is being renovated it is a great place to go.
They have some very dedicated instructors for the swimming classes.
Updated equipment, good variety of classes, knowledgeable staff.

It is great way to spend time when coming to the pool. It isn't always easy to find a place to sit if you get there later in the afternoon, but that is to be expected when the kids are out of school. My only issue with the 6:00 swim lessons is that the pool is crowded and I don't think the kids have enough space. There should be a designated area roped off with enough swim space so that the lessons aren't constantly being interrupted.
The pool is amazing! I also love the eatery in the lobby and the concession stand at the pool.
The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility clean and in good repair. The pool is always a good time and plenty of exercise equipment and classes.
