I like all the new classes and getting to know more of the Trainers. There is a definite shortage of dumb bells for the classes in the Performance and Multipurpose rooms - especially between 8 and 25 pounds. Members have to search from room to room to get adequate dumb bells for the classes. (There is only one pair of 8 pounders upstairs.)
Just rejoined and appears to be much cleaner then when I was a member in the past. Front test staff greet you as soon as you come in.

I want to be absolutely clear, this rating is owned solely by the amazing staff at my location. I believe they are the heart and soul of the entire organization.
In my experience of working in nonprofit organizations, it is absolutely unnecessary to have executive salaries exceeding $1.1 million while the wages of staff stagnate at minimum wage levels.
You should be ashamed of the obscene amount of money you make off the backs of these wonderful people doing the actual operations of the locations.
Also, the fact that executive leadership salaries are so high while facilities lack competitive amenities for members is for-profit behavior.
Invest that money into your people and real estate and take it from those sitting in cushy offices or even working remotely doing little to make the member experience as memorable as your staff do.

New equipment, new sauna… everything is great
Great place to get and stay fit, while meeting new people. Many classes are included in my gym membership and the instructors are excellent.

LIKE: Thank you for taking care of the fan situation in the Trainers Room. I love all the Circuit-type classes and the sauna.
DON"T LIKE The Expresso Bikes are unpredictable as to which ones will boot up. The seats are canted in the wrong direction, making them very uncomfortable.
The carpet in the Trainers Room is dismal.
I see what you're trying to do with all the 'weird' time slots for classes. I know you're still smoothing things out, so I'll wait to comment on that. But I do see some classes going over, which doesn't help things.
The staff, equipment
The pool looks beautiful and we're so looking forward to swim lessons! Yay!
My family and I recently had an appointment at the Y to learn about the new exercise equipment. The front desk staff is always friendly and attentive, James, a staff member/trainer who was exceptionally kind and helpful. He explained how the new machines work in a way that was very easy for us to understand. Based on my experiences at both the Arnold and Pasadena locations in Maryland, it is clear that your entire team gives 100% to their clients.

Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of machines so I don't have to wait. A variety of machines, including many options that allow accommodations for those with handicaps or disabilities (which I have). I like that there is a dedicated water walking lane in the pool and water aerobics classes. Although, I would like a few more times available for the water aerobics classes. The place feels very welcoming and clean.
