Wonderfully welcoming staff. Karen at Parkville’s front desk, Tony Milton who has helped me with training and Mary Ellen Clark who has taught two of my grandchildren to love the water and to swim like fish are my favorites but I have never encountered a single disinterested, rude or unhelpful staff member at the Parkville Y.

The staff is friendly, there is a variety of activities/equipment and it is located in a convenient location. I especially like the fact that it has a pool with experienced and patient instructors.

Up until recently, I've had a positive experience at the Y. I had my mother pick my Chauncey up your stay and play and she was harassed and followed by a young staff member because she was not the person who dropped him off. Not only did I list her name understand parents on the sign in sheet, but she is on the same plan as both me and my son. It really makes me want to cancel my membership because it was so uncalled for and disrespectful. My mother was just trying to pick up her grandson!
