I know that the Y in Towson is beautiful, but I am enjoying my Everfit classes at the Weinberg Y because it is closer to home.

Most of the equipment is usually working. The pool is fairly accessible for lap swim and the hours are reasonable.

Clean facility, caring, friendly & professional staff; the course that I’m most committed to is Flexibility (Tuesdays 11:30) and I am hoping it can be offered a second time each week.

Lots of room for exercise. Plenty of equipment available for workout. Expertly maintained, large Olympic grade swimming pool.

I really love the group exercise classes, particularly Pilates and yoga. Instructors are great and choices are good.

What do you like about your Y experience?

We have been going to the Y for years in combination with big brothers/big sisters program, from before the new building was built. Love the support and encouragement from the trainers! Our kids are using free weights now and loving it. Dad is a disabled veteran and the Y helps him cope with his issues too. We really appreciate the YMCA and BBBS.

My family and I enjoy the variety of activities The Y offers. We all go our separate ways and then come back together in the common area, enjoying our time apart and together! We absolutely love our time here.
