great staff great programs great price
It's a great value! The Y is that rare place where the whole family can go and find their comfort zone.
Friendly, clean, nice staff
Family rest rooms provide privacy. My child and I both had surgery and needed the privacy to assist each other.
There's really nothing to say except the why is absolutely the best experience in Towson that we've experienced at any of your y locations some fantastic place to be at.
The Towson Y is very nice. Lots of equipment, lots of classes, swimming pool, basketball court, juice bar, child care, pretty much everything a family could want. I have resigned only because I am now an empty nester and this Y is more than I really need. I primarily use the treadmill, eliptical machines and attend an occasional class. I am not in need of swimming pool, child care etc. so I am opting for a less expensive gym.
I love it there! So many choices and nice people. Clean facility.
The Towson YMCA is great . everything about it is fine. my only suggestion is please
the mens locker room/bathrooms need to be cleaned more often each day. the floor
is always wet and the sink area always wet and bits of paper towels laying around.
Everything
The Y lets me try new exercise equipment in a safe, nonjudgemental environment.
I just started going here and love it!!
The facility is awesome! So much to do and very kid friendly.
The variety of classes is great and the staff is helpful.
Why is it necessary to close all morning classes when schools open late. I look forward to the early morning 5:45 class to get my day started and don’t agree that it is always needed to be canceled.
Place a magnet or spring on sauna door so it closes tightly please
I visit Orokawa for yoga class and love the facility! The staff at the desk is always smiling and friendly and the room the class is held in is great. There are 2 yoga instructors I find particularly great, Barb and Carl. Kudos for having them on staff, they are wonderful and have helped me to deepen my practice.
The swim lessons didn't work out so well for us. I think my son was in the wrong age/experience level, or he just didn't warm up to the group, but we wound up pulling him out of the lessons before they ended. Maybe we will try again another time.
Nice fundamentals with game play
The team lesson was great. The reason I didn't give it a 10 is I still haven't heard from my application for private lessons.
They broken up the swim practice into 2 smaller groups.
Samantha was great with all of the kids, especially our boy Luke. She seemed to have fun running her class while teaching the kids the fundamentals of swimming and being in the water.
Ran very smoothly on time
The teacher was very kind and took time to make my extremely shy child comfortable with the swimming class.
The instructors are wonderful with the children. My 6 year old loves going to the class and staying afterwards for the open climbing session.
Excellent trainer/coach who was able to engage my son while also teaching him the basics of Lacrosse. Wish there was a two skill level class for continued development.
Kelly was always prepared for class. The excises were challenging and it was a good workout.
The coach did a great job!
StAff tend to be kind
Great selection of classes, abundance of equipment and workout space and friendly trainers and staff.

I like all that the Y has to offer. I just rejoined and have not had much chance to experience all the classes and work out on all the equipment but hope to do so soon.
