My daughter's instructor is very patient and skilled. She has a clear and in depth understanding of breaking down the concept of swimming to young children. We don't live close to the Westminster YMCA but make the drive because of the one on one experience.

Everyone there is very polite and treat you like family. I have not came across anyone who was rude or not child friendly which is great because I have 3 children. I have two children who are doing basketball and they love it and the coaches!
The teachers are really great and they make sure each child is safe in the water.
Muriel (spelling?) she is great with the younger kids. She is effective at keeping the kids attention and not allowing the kids to over rule the class. As a parent I appreciate it and I would like to see my son in another one of her classes. My son is learning and getting stronger.
Coaches are great! They’re patient and obviously enjoy working with kids.

I want to thank the Y customer service and the staff at the Hill Y in Westminster. Helping me understand all the camp options and helping me with my needs. I needed financial assistance and was able to get a memebership and apply my child for one month of camp so far. I plan to sign up for more when i have the opportunity. If it wasn't for the scholarship, we wouldn't be able to afford camp. Along with the 12 month membership. Thank you again for all your time and consideration.

The cycle instructor Danielle was awesome! I’ve never taken a cycle class ever and she was friendly and gave me thorough instructions. It was great workout! Great music and everyone in the class were very friendly.
I love the hospitality and respect each employee has shown me it’s been a great way for me and my son to do something together.
Solid family atmosphere
One thing I do notice, the parking lot gets really dark and dangerous with cars moving in and out at night. The parking lot lights could really use modernization with bright LED based clear lighting instead of the current orange colored older lights that don’t help visibility
Have made friends there. Staff is great. Mike Walters has been very supportive of the table tennis program.

My family will often spend entire days at the Y - the kids start the morning in the stay and play, which they love, and I get to work out in the fitness center! Afterwards we eat out snack in the family lobby area, then go for a swim! In the summer we are on the splash pad daily! I tell everyone with kids to get a Y membership. It’s a must-have for families.
