I use the Aquatic classes for therapy!!! The Y has helped me tremendously in my healing journey ❣️ I have a number of health issues but using the classes offered at the Y has allowed me to feel better, reverse type 2 Diabetes and combat high blood pressure and arthritis! IAM so Glad my Doctor referred me back in 2013!!! I've been a member every since and I am always referring someone else. Thanks for your facility and the help you give to the community 👌🏽

Many classes available for self development
The Y is a wonderful place to come to. It’s my home away from home. It’s clean, convenient and a safe haven as well as a place to get fit. The classes are challenging and encouraging. The staff are polite and friendly. The Y has helped me to maintain a 50 pound weight loss. It is a vital part of my life. Thank you for providing a place for us to come to for health and well being.

The instructors! Monica who teaches body combat At the Ellicott city Y is very skilled at what she does. She is great at teaching all levels of people, patient, amiable, and fun! Her class goes by so quickly because of the energy that she puts into it. You never feel like you’re exercising! I also love Laurie who teaches body pump at the Catonsville Y. Laurie is great at teaching all skill levels, challenges you to use weights that will actually help to change your body, Uses a great selection of music, and knows everyone’s names in her classes. I love the Les Mills classes because some of the other classes feel too easy or are just too dancey for my liking.
I also love these stay and play. I typically take my kids to the one at Ellicott city and all of the staff is very friendly and knows my kids well. Especially the staff who is there throughout the weekdays. I fully trust them with my children!
The Water Fitness Classes (doctor recommended) are the best.
Friendly and welcoming staff
I like the location and the people. I would love to see the return of instructors who were teaching before covid including Linda, Trish, Tracy, and Susan. I miss them and the varied schedule. I would like fans added to the front of the aerobics room on the gym side. One fan doesn’t oscillate and either need to be replaced or the feature turned on. No one wants a fan blowing on them constantly.
Online schedule is good. Text alerts are helpful.
Love the new signs stopping latecomers. Some folks were showing up 30 minutes late and it was annoying.
I like the friendly staff. The gym looks clean and no one bothers me. All ages are there.
Overall, the best thing is the staff.
