I'm always impressed by the YMCA! The staff are welcoming and ready to help!. The facility is very clean. Having disinfecting wipes available allows us to wipe off the equipment in hopes to keeping the places that are handled frequently relatively clean. Once you come on a regular basis you can greet the other users at least by sight. Overall a friendly atmosphere.

I took a break from the Y post spine surgery and recently returned as suggested by my doctor. I had excercised for 50 years prior to surgery and was hesitent to resume. I love the Y. I love the instructors. I find the water excercises perfect for my recovery. Before surgery, I really enjoyed the two very popular classes one run by Janet on Sunday's. The class was moved from the gym (which is the most appropriate for this class) to the studio. In this location, the class became overcrowded and many of the participants were a little too exuberant with their movements encroaching on the personal space of those of use near them. Then as they worked up a sweat, needed to turn fans on in spite of objections of those directly in front of the fans. Frankly this class deserves a larger space and I encourage the center to consider the cost benefit of expanding. Dancel is well attended, as observed by the parking, and deserves to maintain its great reputation.
Steps are very kind and friendly. Swim programs are greater for me.

the YMCA is great. I love the classes, stay and play, climbing wall, and family free of the place. Staff are friendly. The class teachers are excellent.
It would be nice to have more tread mills. One idea is to put them upstairs in the hall. So many people enjoy them.
I enjoy my water classes and using the fitness center. It’s a good social outlet being with other seniors in classes and having coffee in the lobby.

There are a lot of activities to do throughout the building. The whole family can enjoy whatever they want.
I like the gym with the free weights inside of the fitness center. I like the very friendly front desk staff. I like the nice and professional customer service at the fitness center and at the front desk area. Those are my 2 favorite places at the YMCA...
I like the various physical activities for adults and children. I also enjoy the parents night out on Friday evening/nights. There are many advantages to being a member of the YMCA and my son enjoys his time with the ycamp counselors.
The center is clean and well supplied/stocked, the staff are universally friendly and helpful, and the range and diversity of courses is great!

I have filled out surveys in the past and have received absolutely no response. Will this time be any different?
I have repeatedly complained about the working status of the stair masters at the Y. They are NEVER completely operational. Something is always not working on one or all of them. A month ago I spoke directly with the local director of the branch. He promised that he would get them fixed. Nothing changed. I question if the repair person knows how to fix these machines.
