Variety of fitness equipment and classes. Everyone is very nice, both staff and members.
If I could change one thing, it would be to ban backpacks, purses, and bags of all other sorts from the fitness area. Locker rooms are provided for this purpose and it can be a bit unnerving these days.

The martial arts classes offered to our 8 year old have been great. It’s one of his favorite activities each week. He looks forward to it and has done well and advanced steadily. He’s maintained consistent interest, which is great. Coaches are great, they definitely are experts on the sport.
The availability of pre competition swim lessons has been great. Our son is swimming a lot more and even asked to go to practice. Good classes with good coaches.
The coaches for beginner basketball did a great job building fundamental skills and confidence. Our son had a blast.

Masters Swim coaches are very pleasant and competent. I also enjoy swimming with the other swimmers that attend. The sessions are challenging and are responsible for my health improvements.

The instructor is very knowledgeable and the class size is small. Staff is also very friendly. Learning a lot on how to swim. I enjoy using the swim equipment as well.
We love Miss Carol! She's so great at encouraging the kids to take risks and at building their confidence as little swimmers. She manages her class well and always makes sure they're safe and behaving in a way that's conducive to a productive and fun swim class. My son has grown and improved by leaps and bounds in her class!
We love Ms Rachel. She has fantastic interactions with the kids: Shes very knowledgeable, extremely kind and is able to form high levels of trust with the children so they feel comfortable and aren't anxious in the water.

My children (age 7 & 4) absolutely LOVE the PNO's! Any chance we get, we sign them up. Not only can the parents enjoy a few hours for a date night or simply just to have some quiet at the house, but the kids burn off a ton of energy and truly love attending. The staff are absolutely wonderful and dare I say spoil my kids. We love you all and are so appreciative of these events for our kids.
The Seido Karate program at the YMCA is excellent. All of the instructors are very experienced at teaching karate. This program is why I have a membership. I highly recommend the Seido Karate program to people of all ages. Every class on Monday, Thursday, or Saturday is exceptional. Can't say enough positive things!

Our family prefers the Y over a gym for it's entirety of just being a family friendly space.
upon walking in i hadn't done parents night out at this particular ymca and a very nice employee who i'm not even sure was working helped us find the location and the people who greeted us and checked us in were nothing but helpful and kind and patient with my reluctant 4 year old. i can't say enough good things!
