There’s something at the Y for all family members
The culture is family friendly, so it’s more than a gym. I also love the classes.

The employees and the equipment
I don't like! Went I go swimming, a lot of times they have to close the pools because there are not lifeguards. When they close early for example at 6:00 they want you to leave 15 minutes before the time. They do not pay attention to the water fountains filters. I told them and I come back after a week and the light stills red in the water fountains. They don't reinforce the rules to use the pool, "Take a shower before entering to the pools.
I have recently returned back to the Y. After being a caretaker for a year I gained weight. I'm working hard to lose 15-20 lbs that I gained due to not working out. Exercise always helps make you feel better.
The equipment and pools are well-kept, the members of the staff are friendly, and it is a welcoming environment in general.

Am impressed with all encounters with staff--from welcome desk to instructors. Everyone is helpful, personable and competent. The facility is clean and well maintained. The programs are wide ranging and interesting.

Everything you need for the family to stay fit and have fun is located in one spot. Everything from water activity, workout equipment, all kinds of classes (including cycling) to rockwall climbing.
I love the variety of classes and events. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the facility is always clean and orderly. They also have a great seniors program.
The Y has been a blessing to our entire family for different activities, but the Y has had the most significant impact on our daughter Addy. She has done rock wall (level 1 & 2), swim lessons, soccer classes, and sports leagues. The programs are well run, engaging, and she absolutely loves her instructors. Special shoutouts to Jake, Becca, Evelyn, and Lisa!
