I primarily use the fitness room and I've always been able to use equipment (no waiting) and they are doing a great job keeping it updated. The atmosphere is a no judgement zone and the staff are very friendly.

Great equipment
Sense of community. I have worked at a couple of gyms in Central Maryland and recently we were members of Columbia association. I was looking for that same sense of belonging. Mary Grace take care of me from day one! So glad to become a member. Our first night there as a family our youngest son had a total breakdown crying because he didn’t want to leave. That’s a good sign!
I like my Y experience because of the ther enviornment. Everyone there is friendly and it feels like family whenever I am ther.

Catonsville: Clean facility, lovely personnel, community care.
I like that the Catonsville branch upgraded there equipment, and has many classes to choose from if I wish to take them.
I am not a fan of verification for the 4 adults on my membership. It is a bit much.

I enjoy the classes,. I appreciate that the instructors show modifications for exercises. The pool is very clean and the lifeguards are courteous.

Established in the community with great instructors in a variety of classes. Generally friendly staff and welcoming. Only two suggestions I have: add some additional classes for some more variety such as offered by Elliott City Y; secondly, would very much appreciate requirement that members are in class within 5 minutes of start time- it's not only rude to the instructor when entering late but also participants as it interrupts the flow. Particularly for yoga!
