Great place to exercise
I have been recovering from knee replacement surgery and have not been able to return to the Y until today after being away for 4 months. I was so happy to be back in the pool and feel so fortunate to have this YMCA in Catonsville. It is a friendly and welcoming place to go and its good for your health.

Low key environment. Participants are polite and respectful towards each other. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Nice equipment, great helpful and friendly staff, never too busy, equipment much better than commercial chain gyms like Planet Fitness, but the price is affordable.
I love how I see the many of the same people everyday so it feels like a community. Everyone is kind who works there and helpful if you need anything, especially James who has always puts a smile on my face, encourages me and my kids and just a great guy!

I've made some good friends at the Y. I like walking in and being recognized by the friendly staff who always say hello and goodbye to me. I like the private dressing rooms at the Dancel YMCA where I can shower after swimming and not feel rushed.

I love all of the programs the YMCA offers for the whole family. My kids love coming to the summer camp and parents night out. The YMCA is a great place for the whole family!!!
Cycle class. Instructors provide a workout suited to your abilities and play great tunes.
Very clean, family friendly atmosphere and the equipment is label to let you know what parts of the body you can work on. I love the Y.
