Kris was so lovely and personable and did a great job providing a thorough consultation for our first Mathnasium meeting. This unique program zeroed in on the areas that my son needed more support for and tailored his individualized learning accordingly. I also greatly appreciated the fact that an assigned teacher is always available on hand as needed for support while also encouraging student independence. This was important specifically for our family situation as my son (high functioning ASD) was used to relying on 1-1 support, so we graciously welcomed this transition. Prior to joining Mathnasium, my son didn't particularly enjoy math as he was starting to struggle with some of the concepts. And now? He is excited and looks forward to learning fun math at Mathnasium! It has only been a month and I can see that he is slowly building up his confidence in the areas he was struggling with and most importantly, he is enjoying math! As a parent, I am beyond pleased to see his reaction and experience with Mathnasium. I will definitely be adding his younger brother to the program in the near future :D

We have both of our kids attending Mathnasium and they enjoy the stars prize system (read extrinsic motivation). They aren't always excited to go, but once in the car they are excited to get into the building and their daily routines. They are usually happy going and coming from Mathnasium. The staff are very good with the children and do their best to make it Fun! We just started a month ago and we know it takes a lot of time and practice to gain Math concepts. We are hoping their confidence grows and that will lead them to enjoying Math more in School!

My son really enjoys collecting the stars so he could get the prizes he wants.

My son never wanted to do his math homework, now after only 1 month we already see a difference in his attitude towards getting his homework completed. Great atmosphere in the Mathnasium classroom too!

The building is new and central location. The tutor’s always check on students to see if they need any help. Our son really likes the staff and they know their math.

We have been very happy with Mathnasium. Our child's performance in math has improved and this has been reflected in her grades in school but also in her more functional use of math in day-to-day life. The staff, led by the very accommodating Kris, has been friendly and supportive of our girl's math journey.

Your facility is presented well, organized, clean and a really nice learning environment. All of the school material is kept at Mathnasium and work completed in-class which takes the stress away from parents. Our son seems motivated and actually enjoys going to classes. We're very happy so far!

Very professional and my son really loves to go there

Our daughter who had previously done very well in math in elementary school did very poorly in Grade 8, especially once all classes moved online due to the pandemic. She barely passed. We arranged with her school for her to to take Math 9 in the last quarter of this year so she could attend Mathnasium from September to April, three days a week to review the Grade 8 curriculum. I can honestly say that if she had not done six months of Mathnasium, she would not have passed Math 9. She is confident and getting excellent grades. It was a commitment on both our parts getting her to and from tutoring three days a week, but worth it in every sense.

We had a great experience and highly recommend Collingwood Mathnasium!

My kids learned a lot

My daughter is starting to think in math. She is getting her math homework done in class at school, and not struggling to keep up. Despite complaining about having to go to extra math classes, she leaves the classes excited, thoughtful and is clearly taking in the information. This is worth the investment.

With the pandemic and a year of great uncertainty, we were confident in the fact that Mathnasium provided the same (if not higher) level of value, service and learning.
