So far we've seen improvement and our son feels comfortable in the environment.

They've created an experience that have our daughters excited to visit each trip!

While I don't like the approach of motivating kids with candy, I sadly have kids who are highly motivated by rewards, and one of them is motivated by candy in particular. So, the Mathnasium approach works for them both, and I've never seen anyone so excited about going to math class as these two kids (and I grew up with a math professor for a father!).

The Mathnasium staff and experience have surpassed all expectations. In this very challenging time Mr.Tempest and crew have cultivated a sense of safety and the willingness to support our child to endure. She loves math and I believe it is because the team at Mathnasium knows how to keep my daughter engaged and focused in this very distracting and stressful time.

Mathmasium has changed my daughter relationship with Math. She used to have very negative feelings and get really anxious and frustrated during Math classes in school. She has now learned that Math can be fun and is not as frustrated in class as she used to be. Her problem solving skills have improved but ultimately for us the most important goal was for her to change her negative feelings towards Math and I think Mathmasium has done just that!

Been such a great nonstop resource during Covid shelter in place. Our son doesn’t worry about skipping a beat during school closures. We are very very happy they are continually helping kids during the pandemic with structure and Math support. Such an integral part of our son’s academic world. Thanks over and over!

The individualized instruction and homework support was very helpful for our teenager. Not only did they give him work to support and bolster foundation math skills, but they also helped him look ahead at the skills that were coming up in his algebra class.

Andrew has been excellent! My son has been attending for a short while for some extra work on math. Mathnasium has done a thorough assessment to determine where he needs extra work and have worked with him to strengthen his skill. They have done a good job of motivating with some 'gaming' incentives and my son enjoys going every time.

Mathnasium has made a huge difference in our son's understanding of math and he loves going there. The staff is knowledgeable and patient and make learning fun. He enjoys earning stars and saving up for really cool books and toys. They communicate with us and our son's teacher on a regular basis which has been wonderful. We highly recommend them. Their prices our very reasonable.

My kids love Mathnasium - the tutors are fun and caring, they love the prizes and their confidence is at an all-time high! Most importantly, they now see themselves as being ‘good at math’!

Andrew Tempest is the best. My initial meeting was wonderful. He explained how they operate, their philosophy and expectations. Our son has been struggling in math. When my husband and I would try to work with him, we would all get frustrated and many tears were shed. Our son loves going to Mathnasium. He asks to go. They make it fun and their rewards system really motivates our son.

It's making math very enjoyable.

Our daughter gets the attention she needs at her own pace. Her school was more interested in rushing through lessons and seemed to be geared towards the children that could keep pace. But since she's started Mathnasium, we've seen per abilities increase in a summer beyond what they did in an entire school year at school.

It has brought confidence in math in my kids and strengthen the 'deeper thinking' part of both of them and I couldn't be any happier in my decision to sign them up.

Andrew and his team are wonderful to work with. Our son did one month of review before school started and I'm so glad we did. Mathnasium's 1/1 ratio was exactly what our son needed for review, to prevent any summer slide, and to help him feel confident in his math abilities for 6th grade. He really enjoyed his hour long sessions, was focused and learned a lot. He was eager to go (after the initial session) and happy to return.

Andrew also accommodated my requests for assessments and supplemental topics. I've already recommended Mathnasium Ballard to a few moms I know. We will be back as soon as the year gets underway.

What can I say, my daughter loves coming to Mathnasium! Anytime you can convince a 12 year old that it is fun to work on math is a win in my book.

We have been pleasantly surprised about how much our daughter enjoys to going mathnasium. She really enjoys what she works on there, the staff is very friendly. She loves that it feels calming and supportive there. Andrew has also been so supportive to our daughters needs. I the couple of months that we have been going to mathnasium we have already seen a big improvement in our daughters confidence with her math skills. Andrew is great. Very organized, on point and welcoming. Our son is having a wonderful experience since he joined last month. He really likes the reward system. His only ask is that they include a Magic the Gathering booster pack in the rewards case (you can get them at Mox for $4). He really likes the Mastery Checks and being moved along to his own pace.
