We can not say enough good things about Mathnasium. The owners and staff built up his confidence so he isn't defeated by new concepts, but is encouraged to work harder to understand and master them. He is no longer behind in his class in math. Our son really likes their reward system and has saved up for some really cool books and toys.

Mathnasium is so effective because it is customized to each particular student. Each learner can go at his/her own pace and work on material that is scaled for their exact skill level. After a year of remote learning, Mathnasium is exactly what my kids need to make-up for lost ground and to gain confidence in their math skills.

Our son was behind in math and getting frustrated. He started to say he hated math. Mathnasium was able to turn that around. He genuinely enjoys going there and his teaches were impressed with how much he has grown. The owners rewards program has also taught him how to save up for items he really wants. He has more confidence towards learning new things as well. We are so happy Mathnasium is here and we highly recommend it to everyone we know.

Our daughters (now 11 and 9) have been really enjoying doing math with Mathnasium. It's great extra practice on top of what they do at school and keeps them engaged with math throughout the summer too. Andrew and Julie have been wonderful to work with, and we're especially flexible to accommodate our needs during the pandemic. All around a great experience.

The whole experience has been really positive, from the assessment and recommended path from Andrew, to the actual lessons with Sam. What an amazing service, and kudos for figuring out the Covid-era remote tutoring so quickly and successfully.

The owners at the Ballard location are so wonderful. The teaching methods they use and the reward system really works with kids and teenagers. They are patient and kind and hire tutors who are well trained. Our son has been going there since before Covid. They helped bring up to where he should be academically. When the schools went to online learning, I was nervous that he would fall behind again. Instead, his teachers report he has adjusted really well and he has continued to be at his academic level. We don't work with him ourselves because it would end in a fight and tears amongst the whole family. Most of the time he loves going, but there are times when he wants to skip it. However, every single time I've picked him up he's told me he's happy he went and/or he tells me what he learned or what he was tested on. His confidence has grown and he understands now that he has the ability to learn and understand concepts he thought were impossible. They follow all recommended guidelines to prevent Covid and we feel safe taking our son there. I recommend them to everyone.

Our daughter literally looks forward to going to Mathnasium. She enjoys the ability to pace herself - and the sense of achievement she gets when she encounters and then solves a new, challenging type of question. I highly recommend the Mathnasium of Northwest Seattle location in particular. The instructors are knowledgeable and caring.
