Customer Testimonials
Our son has a new found love for Math and his confidence is growing. The incentive program seems to be motivating him to accelerate his learning.
So far, we have gone from a shy and maybe even a bit defensive 5th grader to one with far more confidence and proficiency at math.
She leaves Mathnasium so happy every visit.
The girls love going! I have had so many friends reach out once they have seen their names on the signup. It’s great to have such amazing math support that doesn’t feel like a punishment.
Mathnasium has really helped to enrich my boys and keep their interest in math. My boys both enjoy and excel in math and need a more challenging curriculum outside of school. The staff has been wonderful and the boys always look forward to the sessions at Mathnasium.
We really are having a good experience. Very professional. Instructors take their time to make sure kids get the attention they need. And I like the fact that the kids have to master a math skill till they understand, only then can they move on to the next skill. The owner is very accommodating and quick to respond to queries. My child really has benefited all around and has gained confidence in her ability to master her skills. Thank you Mathnesium in Ballard.
After 6 months, my son’s standardized testing results went up by 11 percentile points. More important, he enjoys going to mathnasium and is solidifying his base skills. Could not be happier. Andrew, Julie and the crew are fantastic!
I highly recommend mathnasium to any parents who have a child struggling in math. Our child's math skills as well as confidence has improved since attending mathnasium sessions.
I think it is working but hard to tell as grades have not come out. I do appreciate the information that is shared with me as parent what my child is working on.
Myla is gaining confidence in math and doesn't hate going twice a week - high praise from a pre-teen!
We have had an amazing experience with Andrew, Julie, and Hannah at Mathnasium is Ballard. My son came in with incomplete math skills and has improved dramatically in just a few months. He loves getting to go to Mathnasium and spin the wheel. Even though he has a lot more math to master, he now says that math is his favorite subject. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to other parents.
Mathnasium has been a great resource for our child. In Seattle public schools, teachers are of varying quality and there’s often no follow up or extra attention. Our son turns to Mathnasium for real lessons and this has shown in exceeding standards for his math scores.
Mathnasium:s environment and program are both fun and scholarly.
Mathnasium has become part of a routine for us twice a week for many years, our children love it, the staff has been welcoming and warm. Their math skills have advanced far beyond grade level as a result, giving them confidence for all things academic. In particular, Mathnasium was a steadying presence through the pandemic, and one of the few ways we could provide reliable education to our girls during a tough time
Tutoring has made my daughter more confident in her approach to algebra and geometry.
We were really happy with our experience with Mathnasium. Our student enjoyed the tutoring and learned a lot from the instructors.
My daughter really likes going there and they are helping her reach her review and expansion goals.
It has been wonderful to learn Math at Mathnasium as Seattle Public Schools has not given adequate attention to teaching math.
Girls are excited to attend each week and refer to it as Math-Amazium !
It's early days but our daughter has maintained enthusiasm for her multiple weekly visits and and has been more pro-active with her school homework. It's been a big help in getting her caught back up after pandemic disruption.
Our daughter loves the experience. ThNk you!
The additional support Andrew, Julie and team have provided our family has enabled our kids to close gaps as a result of the Pandemic and remote school learning, as well as challenge their math skills and accelerate their classroom learning.
I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if the independent work model was the right fit for my sometimes shy son. We've been so pleased with Andrew and his team! My kid already liked math, but wasn't excited about practicing it more outside of school. He now goes to Mathnasium twice a week without much fuss and he leaves feeling confident. Thank you!
We have had a wonderful experience at Mathnasium in Ballard over the past 3 years. Andrew, Julie and the entire crew are welcoming, positive and supportive. Mathnasium was such an anchor during the "online school" days-I will always be grateful. My two daughters continue to love math at Mathnasium. I highly recommend it.
We love Andrew and his team. We had held our breath on whether our kids would be into going and they really enjoy it. There are no complaints going there and are always excited walking out. The tutors are great.
Both our girls (now midway through 7th and 4th grade) have really been enjoying the program for the past year and a half. They are always excited to go and it's given them a great confidence boost for their advanced math classes at their school. Andrew and Julie are a pleasure to work with, a great with the kids, and very flexible to accommodate families' needs.
Such an awesome and inviting place + rigorous, planful approach to math development
My kid does better in this group environment with other kids and knowledgeable tutors.
My son has never complained about going to Mathnasium. He likes the tutors and even has a favorite. The incentives for the kids is exciting to them and motivates them to do their work while having fun.
Very professional and helpful!

Andrew and his staff clearly know their stuff, and have been amenable to both parent and student needs, while maintaining the prescribed course. Our son has shown improvement in the classroom after only one month at Mathnasium, and we are happy to report that he enjoys his time there, which is surprising to Him and his parents.
I wish their were more affordable options to entice us to bring both of our children in, particularly with the punch card. Our youngest daughter would really like to join, but her afterschool schedule is nearly full. She could probably do some Fridays, and on occasional weekend, but it would be difficult to commit to a plan that offers the greatest savings.
