The freedom for the dogs!!!

Cleanliness. Kind and loving attention given to my dog Buster. While I was recovering from major surgery I was able to watch him play and interact with the staff and other dogs through the webcam. It gave me great relief that my precious friend Buster was well and happy. Thank you Dogtopia of Oro Valley, AZ.

Wilbur is excited when we get to parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff. I like the flexibility of dropping him off anytime and half day option. Wilbur goes to the Beach room with similar size dogs. I enjoy checking the Webcam to see what is happening at the Beach.

I love the staff and atmosphere at this location. My dogs love going there, look forward to it, and it's really nice that the staff all know the dogs well. I never feel uncomfortable leaving my "kids" there. And the best is the app that allows you to check on them anytime! Great place!

Beautiful, new, clean facility with amazing staff who are very attentive the the dogs. Great play opportunities for the dogs. Schedule of naps/feedings/sleep keep the day organized.

Great staff! We had our meet and greet visit which was to determine if our dogs were behaved and well adjusted to fit into the pack of about 30 other dogs on the day we visited. They passed with flying colors and it was fun to watch the big screen TV in the lobby of the dogs playing and having fun. The staff is well trained, attentive and easy to talk to and ask questions. Our dogs spent the rest of the day having fun and when I picked them up they were exhausted! The amount of play and social interaction is really good for them and we will be taking them back to be boarded in week.

Staff is friendly - to me an Finn. They seem to really enjoy what they do.

I love the fact that when I leave my dog Jake whether it be for half a day or a full day of daycare, I know he will be looked after and kept safe. I also love that while he is there I can get him groomed or brushed out. It’s just a wonderful place and everyone actually cares for all the dogs. And now that the weekends are open earlier ( 7am) I’m 100% satisfied. Just a wonderful place for Jake to go and I also love that I can quickly look in on him on the webcams and see how much fun he’s having.

THE most important thing to me is that my boy Hubert is safe. Safe in all aspects. The staff/canine companions pay close attention to the dogs behavior and body language. I am sure that there are times that things need to change up as far as staffing the rooms however it appears that they are pretty consistent with having staff in the same room as often as possible. I am glued to that webcam when I am not actually sitting in the lobby. I see them do positive corrections, interact with the dogs, do some simple training and they are right on top of the cleanliness aspect as well.

Here is the thing that I think a lot of people may not think of when it comes to Dogtopia. It is not only for daycare and boarding. My Hubert is a young DASD and has had zero opportunity to just play with another dog. To just be a dog and play with other dogs or at least chill with the hounds :) This location, and I am sure others as well, is an excellent place for socialization. I do not need boarding and I do not need daycare BUT he needs socialization! He comes as many times as I can bring him every week and just hangs out for approximately 3 hours. we have only been going a week but most everyday. I saw a change in him almost immediately when he saw a dog while we were out and about. The prices are very reasonable. If I want trained and competent staff working with my dog and the dogs surrounding him I am happy to pay the fees that go with that. The staff quickly felt like family and they are a large part of why I feel comfortable taking my precious Hubert there. REMEMBER, this location is not just for day care or boarding. They are flexible and welcoming to whatever needs you have in going there. I highly recommend you go for a tour or call and make an appointment for the temperament test. The facility is clean, many procedures in place for the well being and safety of your dog and the staff....they are knowledgeable, friendly, professional yet very warm and genuinely like dogs!!
