Staff are all so nice & my dog comes home tired and happy.

My dog has been placid and calm all day because of the massive amount of play and attention that he got at Dogtopia. He has been so lonely and unsettled ever since we had to move him across the country, but I am so grateful that Dogtopia will give him a home away from home. Oscar and his wife, the wonderful professor (I feel like a jerk for not remembering her name, which was right on her name tag – darn my memory), were the nicest people we've met yet in NM. They were both extremely patient and loving to the dogs (they knew the name of *every single one* there). Also, there was a moment when an employee's mask had slipped down on her face a little bit, just by accident, and the way that Oscar dealt with that – in the gentlest manner possible – made me respect him even more. (I didn't even notice it and wasn't bothered, but some bosses would be – and in my experience have been – much meaner and more admonishing about little things like that.) Also, during the moments I watched on the camera, the employees working in the romper room displayed an almost saintlike level of forbearance with my extremely energetic, overly amorous sled dog. He was smiling for the entire day, and I absolutely loved the report card! Such a great touch! Anyway, sorry for writing a whole essay here, but this is a chaotic time in our lives, and Dogtopia is something really good that has happened for me, for Tundra, and for my husband. (Not posting this publicly just because I mentioned the one employee – didn't want to violate her privacy.)

I recommend Dogtopia all the time to friends at the dog park and other friends. My friends like to watch her on the doggie cam when I'm traveling. Always good service. I know she is safe and being well cared for.

I know that Luna is safe and sound for the day when I drop her off. There is always someone overseeing playtime and I can check in on her anytime via live video feed on my phone. I love that they have designated lunch and naptime, and keep the dogs separated during this time. And it's so clean! Anytime a dog uses the potty, there is someone there immediately to clean the area. Luna always sleeps like a log at night after spending the day at Dogtopia. I just cant say enough about owners Oscar and Kim - first class operation they have there.

It's very welcoming when you come in with your puppy. He had not been there in six months but he remembered everyone and was so excited to be back. I was told by one of the owners he would be introduced slowly and not be overwhelmed by the other dogs. I called to check in on him and was told he was having a great time. I love being able to watch him on the cameras so I know what is taking place. Our puppy loves other dogs and having to keep a distance while we are out walking has been very difficult on him. It was nice being able to take him to Dogtopia so our older girl could rest and not worry about a play-driven puppy pouncing on her all day. He will definitely come back more often since his neutering surgery has been completed. Thank you for taking such great care of our Siberian Husky puppy!

Best doggy daycare in Albuquerque!

Friendly, affordable, and convenient

The staff at Dogtopia Albuquerque-West is wonderful! This is the first time boarding our dog in the 5 1/2 years we’ve had him. After the initial meet and greet with the staff, in their facility and watching how each handler deals with the dogs, we were pleased to board our dog here. The owners are VERY knowledgeable, sweet, understanding and caring. Our dog loves the attention he receives from the handlers and enjoys his breaks when the playtime can become overwhelming. We will definitely be boarding our dog here should we need it again!

Ms. Rose came home so exhausted from her two days of playing. I could tell the entire Dogtopia (staff) family loves dogs from the “meet and greet” to the drop off and pick-up. I’m so glad we decided to introduce her to daycare at Dogtopia.

The staff at Dogtopia is patient and knowledgeable. The coaches truly care about Silas's happiness and safety. I appreciate that they are willing to modify the interactions when Silas gets overwhelmed. Silas and I would recommend this facility to all of our friends (furry and human).

Our MinPin Rhett can be barky and nervous, yet the staff took their time with him and gave him some attention and scratches. We watched the video several times throughout the day and saw that Rhett had relaxed and was playing with the other dogs or laying, comfortably in a cot. We feel confident he will be well looked after when we have to leave him in doggie day care.

My adopted dog had a history of under socialization and was weary, fearful of all humans and dogs. He was suffering from separation anxiety and I needed to find a daycare for him while I was at work. I told dogtopia of his special needs and behaviors, they took him in with confidence and I've been able to watch him blossom into a confident pup over the course just 2-3 daycare sessions. He now interacts fearlessly with the staff and has started interacting more and more with other dogs. I appreciate dogtopia's willingness to work with him and take him in despite his behavioral challenges. Thank you Dogtopia for fostering a safe and active environment for my dog to learn and grow in confidence.

Great place for my puppy. He’s only gone twice but has already adjusted well and loves being with the other dogs.

My pups have made it clear that they LOVE having the BEST day ever at Dogtopia! They have the best time playing with all their doggie friends and they love the human staff. Dogtopia even as grooming services and if you have to leave your dogs over night for a few days this is the only place that I will allow this to happen. The ownership and staff love the pups and treat them all as if they were their own. I just can’t say enough about this place. My dogs get zoomies as soon as they hear they get to spend some time there!!!
