The proximity to home and the fact that it is on my way home from work makes the East Lake Y ideal for me.

I don't use the programs or activities. Just the weightlifting gym and sometimes the pool + sauna + hot tub.
The gym has almost everything needed for weightlifting, and enough of it that you don't have to wait (except at peak hours).
But I would be really happy if a speed bag and punching bag were added to the weight area! :D
I love everything about the program, especially the worker's. Marilyn and Freddie in particular. They are knowledgeable, efficient, kind and very friendly. I really enjoy coming to this center. You all have so much to offer and I definitely want to take advantage of it. I believe I can benefit from your program and I'm going to try my best to do the best I can do. Friendly and helpful staff. Opening of some amenities (Steam room and sauna). Always clean.
I love that Zumba and Strong Nation are offered here! The instructors are wonderful and inspire me to keep coming back.
Early Learning Academy, outdoor swim. I wish the swim lessons for semi private would start back up so i can sign my kids up.
The outdoor pool is fun and clean. The management team there did a nice job managing crowds and keeping it safe for everyone!
Lots of diverse exercise equipment and spaces.
At present I use the Y for swimming laps. Cuz it's one of my favorite activities, and you have COVID protocols that allow me to feel safe doing it.

I appreciate the attention to detail in keeping the facility covid appropriate. Cardio machines are spaced apart and/or separated by partitions, the group exercise studio has spaces blocked off to maintain appropriate distance, and sanitizer and wipes are readily available throughout the facility.
The parking lot classes are great.
I have felt very comfortable coming back to this facility.

There's plenty of space in the weight room and a good amount of equipment.
Very close by and can do everything which taken all sorts of classes and the staff is very pleasant and so helpful 😁👍
