Love the pool and the reliability of Nina!
Well run
I love this gym!! It has a plethora of amenities, classes. The equipment is clean and up to date and there are many options.
However, the Decatur Y is down the street from my house and I refuse to go there. It is run down, outdated and there are no new amenities. It would be nice to have a wider selection of classes, a sauna and a track like the buckhead Y.
The variety for entire family. Looking
The staff is so nice at this location. The weight machines, Stairmaster and Sci-Fit equipment have helped me with weight loss and general well being. I am glad I kept my membership active through the years.
There seems to be plenty of activities for kids and adults of all ages
Basketball was very organized and fun for my kids. Summer camps are also really fun and the staff are great!
Love the breadth of programs, particularly like the cycling classes and easy access to strength training equipment
Love everything the Y provides. Especially Pilates with Kerry Anne.
Good variety of workouts and great teachers
Great classes and lots of them.
Good stuff
Love the tennis program - wish there were even more events, ladders, and tournaments.
Large variety of adult fitness classes taught by great instructors. Would like to see more children classes - dance, yoga, etc.
We like everything at a ymca
I like the 7:30 Monday morning yoga class with Keturah.
I would like to see morning classes reinstated, e.g. the Wednesday and Friday 7:30 a.m. yoga classes were abruptly stopped on 9/1 without any notice to the regular attendees. Many cannot attend later in the day.
High quality Group fitness classes incorporating top exercise science, kind staff, clean facilities and great community :)
The people are helpful and y itself is keeping me going!
I love the Y and I am very grateful it exists. My exercise there is mainly swimming, the staff is professional and nice. I could not love it more!
Choice of of strength classes after 5pm
Recently you had less. I would love to have classes coming back on Wednesday
Fun
Great facilities, very kind people who work there. I appreciate that the decision makers realized fairly early on that closing down the entire building because of a virus that had a greater than 99% survival rate was draconian. They realized keeping people apart and keeping people from working out was far more dangerous. They also have finally concluded that masks should be optional. The response to the plandemic was not perfect but compared with the rest of the ridiculous nonsense going on all over the world (with the surprising exception of Sweden), the response was pretty good. Thank you for staying open.
Quality workout equipment, kids' programs, good tennis facilities including convenient online court reservations, affordable membership price
Haven't used them yet.
My husband and I really enjoyed our time at this location. It was very clean and in great standings. We received a warm welcome from the front desk staff. All of the equipment was in great working condition. The atmosphere was positive and friendly.
I like the friendly staff, the choice of activities and classes and the convenience offered by the location
This is the best Y location! I would give it 10 points, but they cut a good bit of classes. I really wish there were more cardio classes Wednesday- Thursday and Sunday. They could be boot camp, bosu, or lunch express. I like advanced teachers that help me get a great workout in like Betsy, Terri and Jennifer T. I also really liked Robert.
I love the classes, although some of my favorites were discontinued. I love that I lose another pound every month.
Very diverse and plentiful equipment.
Please put up notices INSIDE the walking/running track on multiple walls that tell people which way to walk. Many people do not see the sign on the door and walk the wrong way which can get someone hurt. I get really frustrated having to tell people that ignore me.

In every class I’ve taken the teachers are committed and caring.
