We absolutely love the classes geared toward Seniors . . . especially Annette's Senior Strong. We also make regular use of the weight room.
Dripping Springs aquatic program is wonderful. The staff is so nice and they are skilled teachers. The aquatics director, coach Janet and everyone working in this program has really helped my kids begin swimming and improve their swimming.
I like the indoor pool, the outdoor shower, and the reservation system for using both pools.

I like the size of the facility and the assortment of cardio and strength training machines. I have not gone to a class at this facility since 2021, which was a water aerobics class. The class sizes were limited due to COVID safety protocols, and there were issues with the scheduling system. For example, I signed up online, and the system showed that I was signed in at the front desk. But the instructor's handheld device was not synced and did not show me in the class. She wasn't going to let me in, until another member who had reserved a lane offered to share it with me. It was embarrassing. Sometimes these long-established classes can feel closed off to new members, and the instructors need to be more aware of this and try to be more welcoming.
That being said, I am more committed to my health and fitness this year, and am looking forward to using the facilities and trying more classes.

There are so many options to keep kids involved and entertained through the summer. The swim instructors, especially the teen and young adults, are so amazing with the kids. They really engage with the kids personalities and make it so fun.

I have attended a lot of ymca locations. I actually live in Hays but have found the Springs location to be far superior in terms of Programs. Your youth and child programs are awesome (sports camps, legos, swim) and your family activities are as well. I wish our location did as many things as y’all.

Great staff and clean
We love our Springs YMCA. The staff is friendly and long-standing giving a true sense of community. The facility is updated, inviting, and clean. Childwatch feels safe and like such a Boone. Our family spends a lot of time here!
I really like water exercises. They help make it easier to move my arms and hands by the water support while exercising . I plan to keep using this program. Thanks

My kids LOVED swim lessons. I’ve never seen my 5 year old smile as much as he did while in the pool with his instructors. The swim instructors were patient, fun, professional, and encouraging. We’ll be back for more lessons!
My adult swim lessons were very organized. My instructor was so incredibly helpful! She was very patient & gave perfect instruction that made sense. I came in for a few pointers on swimming technique before my sprint triathlon. I was able to successfully swim the distance I needed for my race. I was very impressed with my instructor. You are lucky to have such a talented person!

My daughter really enjoys the environment with all of the instructors and relaxed atmosphere. I love that I can drop her off and get a quick workout in on days where we are pressed for time. It’s just a great fit for our family and we have seen a lot of progress during her weeks of swim lessons.
