I really like how thorough Huntington Learning Center is regarding the students that come there to get extra help. My son has grown academically so much because of Huntington Learning Center. Thank you so much! Down the road, we may need to come back, and I would feel so comfortable doing so.
Personal attention and help
The tutors and ladies behind the desk are friendly, professional, cheerful and eager to meet my son's needs. Fortunately, he loves to go for his visits which is not his opinion of every day school. While he has matured, thanks to the help of the Huntington staff, he is making plans for high education. Whooppeee!

They are patient and meet my son where he is. He is not necessarily motivated or eager regarding academics and schoolwork as a teenager. But they don’t give up easily on him and give real feedback for us to work as a team to help him to the best of our ability to succeed,
My kids have been learning so much since they started Huntington. My 4th grader's test scores in reading have increased significantly due to Huntington. My kindergarten son loves to go there to practice his reading skills. He is already reading small paragraphs.
Ashburn Huntington is the best. The director Mr. Mike and his assistant director Ms. Beth are supper nice and very flexible when it comes to scheduling and in general. The tutors are great.
Best decision we’ve ever made for our 6 year old! In just about three weeks there is a noticeable difference in our daughter’s academic performance, but most importantly her attitude towards school/tutoring. They have instilled so much confidence and joy in our daughter. It’s truly been life changing for us…..in just THREE weeks. No more tears and stress for our daughter or myself! We were very close to looking into medication and potentially holding our daughter back and have taken both of those options off the table. They embrace our daughter’s big humorous personality and have unlocked how she learns. It’s definitely an investment, but it’s the best one you can make. I fully believe they’ve changed what her next 12-16 years of education will be like. Lori, Jackie, Jenn and all we’ve worked with have been wonderful. These teachers and this center change lives.
Huntington takes pride in its program and has a willingness to provide tailored instruction based on your child's specific needs. Staff (Ashleigh especially) has been so kind and supportive to my daughter and has gone above and beyond to ensure she has every available resource to aid in her success. Sherry has been super supportive as well!
Friendly support staff and great one on one learning experience for students. Location is also convenient.
Teachers are kind, creative, and encouraging. We have already seen our daughter makes significant progress in math. She enjoys going to Huntington every week.
My son is excited about Math. He enjoys working with his Tutor and is confident about his skills. As a mom it is fun to see him so excited about Math.
Very responsive and helpful
I like that the teacher is attentive to my child's learning. The teacher goes by my child’s pace and not try and rush his tutoring to where he might miss the understanding of the lessons. She finds ways to make sure his comprehension is understanding of the lesson and proactive to show ways to retain the information.
My child gets individualized instruction tailored to her specific needs.
The staff is very friendly and genuine. They answer all my questions and have taken the time to explain my son's progress. I am so glad I found them and I just wish I would of found them sooner!

My son’s teacher, Christian A., is great. He’s helped my son improve his grade in math by 2 full grades and regain his confidence in the subject. My son really likes him, he’s knowledgeable, engaging and nice.
My daughter went to Huntington for SAT practice. They tailored her program specifically to her needs. They had a detailed plan and gave her a lot of support.
Not only is Huntington helping with things that are learning challenges with my son, they are also helping to accelerate the areas he exceeds at. It is truly a whole brain child approach.

A little early to rate the effectiveness of the HLC until we see the results with our son's SAT score.
The tutor has been very helpful to the student and encourages her not to give up. The staff is friendly and informative for the next steps. The administration is very understanding with working with me on my payments. This facility of learning is fantastic and worth the investment in assisting the student through her AP Calculus BC course.
