Usually it is consistency of showing up on time in morning of our scheduled cleaning day. This has not occurred recently though.

Monta was extremely personable and helpful when I called to ask questions and get an estimate on behalf of my dear friend in Tampa who is going through treatment for aggressive, stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I live 4 states away from Tampa and wanted to help my friend with her house (cleaning). I looked up cleaning services on the American Cancer Society's website and found some of their recommended cleaning services. I called one place and received another estimate from another cleaning company. The first place I called told me they would send 1 person to clean for $300 per hour. The woman I spoke to was not very personable, even after I explained the difficult situation. She immediately rattled off a list of everything they would NOT do (we don't do windows, we don't clean refrigerators, we don't do this and that). I was surprised to know that the services were so pricey. She did tell me that if I hired them for a 2nd hour, I would get a discount. I was disappointed but decided to just check and try to get another estimate and I'm so glad I did. I called Merry Maids of Tampa and was told that they will send TWO people to clean and they will call my friend in advance to ask her what her cleaning priorities were. Monta never mentioned anything that they "will not do" which was so nice because when a person is dealing with crippling chemo treatment, it's even worse for them if their home is messy and they simply don't have the strength to do anything about it. My friend also didn't want to ask her daughter to clean either because this poor girl was helping her mother with other things like lung drainage tube and meds. Then Monta told me that the cost for TWO cleaners to come is $150/hour (which is half the cost of the other place I called). I talked to my friend after the cleaning folks came and she was so happy and so grateful. She told me the two women who came to help her insisted that she stay in bed and relax and not do any cleaning work. Then I got a text from Merry Maids of Tamp regarding the credit card debit for the services and found out they gave me a discount on top of the low fee for two cleaners! I could not be more pleased with their professionalism and honestly, their genuine empathy for my dear friend who is dealing with something that nobody should have to deal with.

We wanted a deep cleaning of a manufactured home that we just purchased...it was pricey but they did an AWESOME job!

The ladies show up on time, do there work quickly and completely, and at the end of there cleaning ask you to review there work and let them know if anything needs attention.
