What I thought it'll be a year or 2 ended up becoming a staple....my daughter has been coming to Mathnasium for at least 7 years. We can't afford private schools but I made my budget work for math tutoring. The location is safe, knowledgeable tutors, everyone is engaged into learning...don't wait to enroll until grades are bad...in our experience starting early was very good.

I was certainly on the fence about this program but I am so happy I took the leap and signed Ashton up before the school year ended last year. Last year he would fight about homework and cry while doing it with us, it was horrible! This year he is breezing through his homework without even an argument, he starts debates about math facts with his his high-school siblings and there has been many times that he was faster at answering than they are (he is in 2nd grade). On top of that he talks about how math is all around us, solving questions from bulletin boards or signs about years or time with his math. He used the the block method to know his birthday was 26 days away last month. It’s a real bonus he likes going to the classes too! Mind blown! Thank you for the help!

This place is simply amazing. I had my teenager at different math tutoring places and she hated it. It actually became a form on punishment when she had a bad math grade. Fast forward, we moved to El Cajon and looked for a math location. We found this location and fell in love with the place right away. Kevin and his wife Casie are the sweetest and so accommodating. My teenager LOVES going to tutoring now and is #1 in her class. She loved it so much that I have my 6 year old there now and she is already very advanced in her classroom at school and screams with excitement when it’s Mathnasium day.

We have been with Mathnasium about 2 months. We are very pleased with the progress our 3 daughters have made and continue to make every week. Two of our 3 girls have IEP’s and we can see the significant change (positive) in their understanding of the concepts they once had difficulty with. Kevin the owner is very sweet and works directly with all the children that come through the doors. We highly recommend Mathnasium!

The staff are friendly, supportive, and encouraging. My son continues to say "he hates math" however he actually requested to go to Mathnasium for a 5th day this week (so he could earn double points). He enjoys telling us about the tricks he learns and the concepts that make math make more sense. He wonders aloud "why don't they teach us this stuff in school!"

We took our grandson there. Kevin was wonderful. Actually the whole staff was great. On some occasions our grandson would give us grief, about going. But every time we picked him up he was happy and said he learned a lot. I recommend this to any parent who's child is struggling in math

We started coming to mathnasium as a recommendation from a friend as my son was behind significantly in math. His confidence was gone and I honestly didn’t know what else to do at this point because we had tried everything. Since starting I have watched my son not only grow several grade levels in math in less then a year but see his confidence grow and I can confidently say it’s due to coming here. It’s also a very accommodating place we are a larger family and I sometimes have to make changes to our schedule last minute they always do their best to work with me in getting him in where they can for the same day when and if possible so I don’t lose our session for that day. I recommend this place to everyone.
