What I like about senior helper is the relationship between staff and there workers and because of that our clients are appreciative as we take care of them.

I thoroughly enjoy working with staff members who are generally fast to respond to requests or changes. Assignments are close to home. I do however have a critique. Orientation is very clinical and not enough emphasis is put on respect, loyalty and honesty toward the clients who put their trust in us. It is also important to stress safety. For instance, trip hazards in the home (rugs that slip, furniture that juts out). Some need instruction on how to properly make a bed especially for a person that's incontinent where disposable bed pads are needed. Too often they're used upside down. Also needed to be emphasized, the client is first, #1 priority. Speak calmly, never, ever walk out because of hurt feelings and never argue with the client.

Senior helpers is a very nice home care agency. They find qualified helpers to assist in daily needs to seniors.
