I can’t speak to the organization as a whole, but the franchise I work for really cares about its employees. I live far from my current clients, in a very rural mountainous area. We had a couple of surprise snowstorms. Though I was willing to try to make it out, my supervisor told me not to because it was too dangerous. She assured me that she would find someone to cover my shift and that I should stay home. Knowing how much management prioritizes the safety and wellbeing of the employees makes it easy to say yes when they call needing coverage for another employee in a bind. They go above and beyond for us, so we want to go above and beyond for them. It makes for a really healthy and compassionate work ecosystem.
