My husband and I feel so welcome every time we walk through the door. Love the wellness exercise room with a great view of the mission, and the coaches are just wonderful.
YMCA is so welcoming and they provide so many resources outside of just the gym membership. I am still getting familiar with all it has to offer, but it feels like a community rather than just a place recreational center and that is my favorite part so far.

We loved our Coach Mickey Martinez and the team we were on. Also, the communication regarding weather alerts and any cancelations was MUCH IMPROVED from when we previously played youth sports with the Y.

We had THE BEST COACH! Coach Armando was so supportive of the kids’ growth. He worked them hard and expected a lot from them but he never lost his patience when they fell short.

My family has been a part of y sports off and on for 12 years. We love that parents and children take a pledge before God to show good sportsmanship and respect (although recently only the children have been required to say the pledge before games and they often skip the parent pledge which is unfortunate because it shows in many parents’ behavior that they are not putting the child first, sport second.) Our family has found the practice and game schedule easy to handle. Our children have learned so much and have all grown to love sports and continue to play for their school.

We knew who the coach was the first day, all the practices were easy to find as they were on the same field. All the games were on on the same field. The consistency helped us feel like there was more structure.
We will come back again in the fall. We love coach Danielle and would not recommend anywhere else.

Great coach, good sportsmanship promoted and friendly for youth who have never played. Good mix of all experience levels on the team and all given a fair opportunity to play and in different positions. All around just a great experience for our 1st year.
