I've been using Platinum Performance since about 2007, for every horse, every meal, and it has been the very best product to support, re-hab of those who needed it, and maintain each horse into dotage, but I am seriously concerned about your sale to a large, chemically-focused company. Your products -- and I've used several, including Performance CJ, selenium, yeast supplements, and more -- have been natural alternatives to the more chemically based supplements out there and I fear that is in danger of changing to bend to a large company's bottom line, over time, if not immediately. So I'm looking for alternatives to Platinum, as are my friends and those I've turned on to the products. I hope you stay as you are until we can find those, as you have been a remarkable 'local' company and one we could trust. Best wishes in your new alliance.

Over the years I’ve used supplements from a variety of places. Often I’ve asked someone what they do to get their horse so shiny and healthy looking and the answer is always “Platinum”. This year I switched and my horses have never looked better. I mean, just gleaming even when dirty or right after a body clip! I also don’t need some additional supplements so it cut down on the ones I needed. Even my picky eater liked it and I like the convenience of the paks. Just added selenium to offset our low selenium hay and it was super economical. I’ll always keep my horses on it now!

My vet advised me to start using Platinum Performance after my Holsteiner mare, Lark, was struck by a hit-and-run driver three days before Christmas, 1996. She developed laminitis during her year-long recovery. His primary purpose in prescribing Platinum Performance was to give her nutritional support while she healed. He was particularly concerned about her fragile feet.
I believe that Platinum Performance was key to the mare's recovery and eventual return to serviceable soundness. According to my vet, it is rare for a horse her size, 17 hands, 1600 pounds in her prime, to survive a bout of laminitis that was as severe as hers was. Alas, she was not able to follow in the footsteps of her sire or older brothers as a grand prix jumper, but she was able to do dressage. She has always been strong and healthy, and her coat is always gorgeous even when she is in winter woolly mammoth mode. (I always have to tell people, no, it's not grooming, it's Platinum Performance.)
Lark is now 26 years old, and she's still a Platinum Performance horse. I especially appreciate that Platinum Performance has developed a number of different formulas and additional products that allow me to adjust her supplement program to fit her changing nutritional needs.
