I wish there was a way to do an hour of reading/writing and an hour of math in one 2 hour session.
Teacher Laura is amazing and my daughter really enjoys working with her.
The rescheduling process could be easier and digitized. Also tracking the students progress should be available on any browser.

Took a long time for Sylvan to touch base with our kids teachers. Online account did not work for weeks. Never got a specific long term academic plan for tutoring. My son says he spends a lot of time on the computer instead of human teaching.

Each day my child goes in to class, but I am not sure what it is he is learning or if he has retained any information. It has only been may be 3 weeks since he has joined. May be I will know more during the conference. Right, now I have not seen any improvement and I am clueless of his progress.

Consistent staffing --- Our daughter is usually with a tutor who knows the subject matter she's working on, but sometimes she gets assigned to someone who doesn't. Last time she was assigned to a tutor who didn't know how to help her with her math so the tutor told her to just google it on her phone. Not exactly what we're paying for..... but most of the time it's fine, as long as she's with her regular tutor.
