The staff
The location has very attentive staff and adjust to my child’s abilities. They are in contact with my child’s school and creates plans based off their assessments and the teacher’s assessment. I’ve seen real improvement in the last couple of weeks. A huge plus is also the student to tutor ratio. I have never seen my child sitting with more than two other students during sessions.
My daughter has gained her confidence in the certain class which I hope will translate to other classes as well.

They follow up to make sure you and your child are happy and try to make whatever arrangements that are needed so that your child can learn.

My son started at Sylvan two years ago, struggled in math and tested two years below grade level. Today he is doing great in school and is well above grade level. Additionally the staff is very friendly and flexible to the changing needs of both the family and students schedule. Personally I highly recommend Sylvan to my friends already and would tell anyone considering them to give it a try!

Mason and his team are exceptional at listening to the parents' and students' concerns, and really drilling down to find the root cause of any issues, and developing the best methods to learn. They tailor the programs to the student, frequently reevaluate, and are flexible and creative in lessons to both motivate the student, and help them master the objectives.
Our daughter loves reading, and although she could read above grade level, we have been consistently told that she has trouble with reading comprehension. We tried summer programs at Reading Development Institute for several years, and she reads every day. However, she still did not do well on her EOGs, so we came to Sylvan for more individualized assistance. Mason and his team discovered that her trouble was with her confidence and ability to summarize, and not reading comprehension! Now our daughter is progressing, building confidence, and loves going to Sylvan. We are so grateful for their passion for teaching, professionalism, and the fun learning environment that they have cultivated. Thank you so much!
