Rodney explained to us that what we thought was a weed is Bermuda grass. We thanked him for this info,therefore do not need weed control.

2. Work Order NoPhone number removed655/Mr. Leonardo Hernandez conducted on 03.05.2019.
For Mr. Farias my assumption is that he was in training as there were two technicians on site and it appeared (I did not ask) that one technician was teaching/observing the one doing the work, which I believe was Mr. Farias. The technician immediately realized that we were having work done in the back of the house given the condition of the access point (right side of our house) for the swimming pool construction crews. Mr. Farias asked about that side of the yard to which I told him to ignore that area, to not apply anything as the sod was being replaced. From what I observed the application procedure was done correctly and professionally for the remainder of the yard. As well, Mr. Farias noticed we had two small dogs and provided us with guidance to ensure they were not harmed by the application. Job well done.
For Mr. Hernandez, this service should not have been scheduled nor should have been accomplished given the Service I ordered and paid for in on May 9, 2018 had already had this service accomplished on 5/16/2018. The documentation (which I consider a contract be design) clearly states under BILLING AND PAYMENTS, second sentence, "We'll send you a reminder letter when it's time to PrePay for next year's services." No such letter and/or email was received nor was it expected until April, the month before the next service annual schedule would have taken place. I would not have ordered this service; as I advised the young lady in the Billing Department as soon as I saw what had happened (within 1/2 of Mr. Hernandez completing his work) that I had on my calendar to call TruGreen in April to advise that I was not going to continue with their program from May 9, 2019 -to- May 9, 2020. That my using TruGreen was an experiment as to whether the service offered met expectations and that I intentionally was going to go for a year without TruGreen Services to see what does/does not happen to our lawn.
The lady who I talked to in the billing department today (3/5/2019) reviewed with me the services remaining based on the Service I Pre-paid for on May 9, 2018. I also asked the young lady to annotate my records that after the remaining services for the current PrePay Cycle that I was not going to continue the services. The young lady advised me that I should still call upon completion of the remaining services to ensure that I am cancelled.
Of the three services I bought (Lawn Care Plan, Tree & Shrub Plan, and Irrigation Plan) I was pleased with the Lawn Care and Tree & Shrub Plan but totally disappointed with the Irrigation Plan and I have told my golfing partners my experiences with all three plans and advised them to stay away from the irrigation plan. Since May 9, 2018 I have only had two Sprinkler Qtrly Maint Services, and this is because of the construction of a single lane heated salt water lap pool which caused me to shut down two of the five watering zones I have. During the Sprinkler Maint Svc by Mr. David Norman the service consisted of him turning on my system with each zone running for five minutes while he sat in his truck talking on the telephone. I had at least three sprinklers that needed adjustment that were not touched and was told everything was fine. I do not remember if I wrote a review on Mr. Norman's two visits because while Mr. Norman was very personable, and I believe on his first visit he explained other ways of gauging watering requirements and the tools used to do that I remember not being a "Happy Camper" about the experiences.
As to the other two plans, I believe (despite all the construction) that my lawn looks better than it did before TruGreen did its work. I would and have recommend those two services to others.
Lastly, every time I have had the requirement to call TruGreen on the phone the professionalism, attention to the issue being discussed, and friendliness of the people with whom I have spoken to has been outstanding - very professional.
In April of 2020 we will evaluate the condition of our lawn and decide if we will become a TruGreen Customer again.
