David has a deep understanding of lawn care and has always been spontaneous in response to issues that arise. David has provided us with a dedicated field technician, John Duchame. John is perhaps one of those rare individuals that not only enjoys what is does, he takes a personal pride in his results. John obviously has been well trained and has a keen eye always looking for subtle changes that he makes adjustments for. I would be remiss not to mention the office support that makes the big wheel turn smoothly.

The technician came within the projected time frame, was friendly/accessible and courteous. He answered my questions but I forgot to ask one about the nutsedge I have. He indicated it may take 2 treatments and my question concerns whether I should cut it when I mow the lawn or let it grow out. What do you recommend?

Good afternoon - please remember to tell the service person that the lawn is a newly sodded lawn - installed in September, 2021. Lawn was replaced because of extensive chinch bug damage. The treatments must include a treatment to prevent any chinch bug damage.
Also - please tell your service person to apply the treatments evenly. Some areas are not growing as well as other areas in the lawn. I am not sure if it is the treatments or just my grass.

TruGreen technicians perform their tasks thoroughly and carefully. This is my second year with TruGreen and I'm pleased with the service. My lawn, shrubs and trees look beautiful. As important, however, the TruGreen service technicians pay attention to my surrounding property to avoid damage. Prior to TruGreen, I used a local company for lawn, shrub and tree fertilizer care. They did a good job applying fertilizers but didn't pay careful attention to make sure that they did not damage my property during applications. Often, during service applications, they would spay my house siding with chemicals, cover my deck and sidewalks with chemical granules, and/or knock down or break the reflectors along my driveway, This should not happen. Such damage to the homeowner's property must be avoided but, if it occurs, it should be fixed and/or reported to the homeowner. I have so far found the TruGreen is careful in this regard.
