This was our first year with TruGreen at this address. The lawn had been neglected prior to our purchase a few years ago. After we did much of the re-landscaping ourselves, we decided it was finally time for the lawn to have some TLC. It was a HOT summer and we were disappointed during August when it appeared at it's worst. Many weeds had NOT gone away despite the fact that the service had started early in the spring. I had also observed several applications by technicians who seemed to be in a great hurry and did not go all the way to to the edges of our lawn.
However, after some calls on my part, technicians came out for additional treatments in the still weedy areas. We had Creeping Charlie (as well as other weeds) throughout the back yard. Charlie especially did not want to be give up! The overall lawn has greatly improved since the extra treatments and all of the rain. There are still Creeping Charlie weeds around the fire pit in the back yard but much of it is gone. Perhaps one more weed killer treatment will discourage more growth.
