I really enjoyed the interaction with Troy. He was very through in his explanation about what my kids would be learning from Sylvan. I am happy to report that my child who was having a bit of difficulty in reading and writing has drastically improved and I feel confident it is as a result of all the instructors at sylvan. My older daughter has used the skills she has learned in sylvan to help explain concepts of writing to her classmates. She does admit that she feels like she is a stronger writer as a result. I am a very satisfied parent with the work that sylvan is doing with my children.
Roberts confidence in math has greatly improved.
They’ve help my daughter Tremendously with math. Her confidence is boosted and her test scores have gone up.
Although my granddaughter seems to be keeping up in school, I have no idea what they are tutoring her at Sylvan. It would be nice to have a daily report and feedback on how she is doing.
Sylvan brought my grandson up to grade level standard and beyond with his math and has given him the confidence he needed to be successful.
Sylvan of Jacksonville, North Carolina has a great staff, who are willing and ready to assist your child's needs. It was a great learning experience not for my child only, but for the entire family as well. I appreciated that the assistance was tailor-made for my child's needs. The instructors were patient and caring. When there were concerns of any sort, they were addressed. I can truly say that Sylvan has contributed to my child's academic success. The instructors held my child accountable for putting in the work. Sylvan was a great investment.
We have been very happy with Sylvan. My son had a little bit of a hard time at first, but once we talked with Jackie about ours and his concerns, we were reassured with data and specifics about the process. Ever since then it has been so great and we’ve been so impressed with Jackie’s help and response to our son’s needs. We are happy and hopefully our son is going to be super successful in 5th grade math! Thank you!

I like how my child is learning and they even take a few minutes before leaving to assist with homework and if a schedule change need to be done we can move to another day

My son has only been going for a little while but he seems to like it.
We are pleased with Sylvan’s immediate response to our family’s request of an assessment for our 3rd grade daughter. They were able to get her scheduled within a couple days and then the evaluation was readily available with a complete comprehensive review. We were able to get our daughter on a regular schedule and she loves going! She doesn’t see it as extra work but rather a fun learning experience. She is looking forward to seeing how this will help her get on track for her grade level just as much as we are!
Our daughter looks forward to attending her tutoring seasons. We’re just a few weeks in and I can already tell a difference in her confidence and excitement to read more on her own. Thank you!
