The Director Ms. Martini was awesome!!! She is a great listener and extremely enthusiastic. She made me feel confident that my son's weeknesses would turn into strengths, with the assistance of the Sylvan staff. She was right! His standardized test scores are now among the highest in his school and his writing is fantastic. Money could not pay for the confidence that my son and I have gained through the Sylvan program.

Sylvan was a great help to both my sons. The one son was having difficulty in school and after completing the program he has continued to do well. My other son took the SAT prep class and improved his score greatly. He was accepted to all colleges to which he applied.
The results! Anytime my daughter has gone to Sylvan for help, she leaves happy and feels the time was well spent. She was not interested in going to Sylvan at all when I first suggested it for help with a summer math packet. However, once she attended the first year, she now suggests getting help from Sylvan when she needs it.
The individualized learning program that was created for my son. This learning program mirrored my son's math class in school. He enjoyed the small study group and wasn't afarid to ask questions, like he was at school. His grade in math went up one full grade in just a few classes.
Sylvan Learning center helped my son tremendously with his reading skills. I would definitely send him back to Sylvan if he needed further assistance. He never once complained about going for tutoring. Not only did he gain reading skills but his confidence began to improve too. He is in 2nd grade now and he received all G's (good)in math and reading and an O (outstanding)in science. This is compared to barely passing 1st grade. I would recommend Sylvan to students in need.
My daughter has attended Sylvan twice in the past 3 years and both times have been a success. The first was for additional help in Math which she managed to bring her grade up to an A. This past winter, she was having a hard time adjusting to the freshman workload. I signed her up for the 10 week study course and again, she has managed to increase all her grades. Money well spent at Sylvan!
