Student understanding
My son was overloaded with a heavy academic semester, and Sylvan was able to simultaneously help him with both of his most troublesome courses with the same tutor. He was extremely reluctant to try tutoring, but has grown very open about it, and said his tutor is very concise and helps him with any questions. Thank you!

Our family is very satisfied with our experience at Sylvan in so far. We registered our son during the CBE strike because we were concerned that he would fall behind. While deemed at grade level, he’s benefiting from the extra support that he is gaining which ensures that the fundamentals are in place. Our son is excited to attend his learning sessions twice a week and is motivated by the reward system. As parents, we get regular updates on his progress and general updates which help keep us organized.
I have two children who attend Sylvan Learning Center, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress they’re making. Each of them has different learning needs, and Sylvan has been amazing at meeting them right where they are. The assessments were thorough, the learning plans were clear, and the staff has been supportive every step of the way.
Both of my children have grown not just academically, but in confidence. They walk into sessions excited and walk out feeling proud of themselves — and that alone means everything to me as a parent.
The teachers are patient, caring, and truly invested in helping kids understand what they’re learning. I also appreciate how well they communicate with me about goals, strengths, and areas of improvement.

My daughter has been attending once to twice a week for extra help. Everyone weve met has been friendly an pleasant. My daughter enjoys attending sessions each week she hasn't complained once--which with a pre teen you'll understand why thats such a success in my book 😊

We have just begun tutoring with the team, and we have noted there has been ongoing interaction between Instructor and our son which we believe will be a huge impact on reaching his goals.
I enrolled my son in Sylvan a few years ago and his reading/math scores improved a lot, his teachers were very impressed. We came back a second time for my daughter to get extra help with her dyslexia and my son is attending again to help him graduate early. Sylvan has been a huge help to both of my kids.
My son is now happy about reading. We don't have to make him get a book. The school is sending reports home stating that he has shown an increase in accuracy and is recognizing words more easily.
My son needs to be engaged and interested in order to learn, which is exactly what you deliver!

I have been pleased with the tutoring assistance that has been provided to my daughter within this short time span. She enjoys attending and is able to apply the tokens of knowledge that she has received thus far from the wonderful instructors with the center. We’ve been attending for almost 1 month and are very satisfied.
The director is amazing! She is very detailed careful and articulate with every students learning plan and makes it a point that we meet regularly to discuss my students goals. We are very happy eith the progress my child has made since joining Sylvan.
