I liked that you provide several notifications prior to arriving. The team is very polite and prompt. I was disappointed in the rate to clean my area rug so I had to decline that. I wish there was a way you could clean the area rugs just like the carpet. Put a water protector under the rug and then use your equipment to clean it while on the floor. That seems like it would be a viable alternative and less costly. I really wanted to get that rug cleaned.

No residue on rugs and very clean for a reasonable price!! I don’t like how expensive it is to clean area rugs. It actually cost more than to do my whole house, just as much as it cost to purchase rugs.

The technician was able to come early because of a cancellation which was nice. He was polite and professional. I do feel a bit baited and switched, though. On the phone when I set up the appointment the girl made it sound like the base service would be sufficient for my carpet problems. And she avoided giving me direct answers and deflected when I asked for more details -- describing my specific needs and asking if they would cost more to address. When the day for the cleaning came, suddenly I was told the base treatment for the carpets wouldn't be enough. I needed a special cleaner that was an additional $210 on top of the base cleaning "or the cleaning wouldn't do anything to the carpet." So my $167 cleaning job turned into a $377+ bill. I don't blame the technician since he wasn't the person on the phone but I find it pretty reprehensible that this wasn't explained to me on the phone prior to making the appointment. It put me in a very uncomfortable position when the technician basically told me my 2 options were either don't get the cleaning or get the upcharged cleaning. I really hope this isn't common practice for ZeroRez, because I feel a bit taken advantage of. Also, I was told it would take 3-4 hours for my carpets to dry. It actually took more like 12+. As far as I can tell, the carpets are clean now, but I would not have selected ZeroRez if I had known the upfront price would be almost $400. I'm only giving a 10 because I don't want the technician punished.
