My son has gotten so much braver in the water! The teachers are so patient and fun.

The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. The layout is very easy to understand. Some of the machines are getting a bit worn but at a high use place this is acceptable but something you might improve upon.

You offer programs and activities that impacts all age groups and fitness level.

Lots of opportunity for pickleball.

I believe our YMCA has attracted so many wonderful teachers. I can’t pick out one, because I love all my Yoga and Pilates teachers.

I normally participate in group activities, mainly classes. The instructors are enthusiastic and dedicated. It seems that more classes are being scheduled now as we seem to be emerging from the Covid pandemic.
I also know that there are a wide range of activities available that I haven't participated in.
And the exercise/weight rooms are well equipped and adequate for the number of people who I see in those areas.

I love the lap pool, although the water at 73 degrees this past Monday was a bit of a shocker!! I can handle 81 degrees, but not 73...am hoping it is warmer when I come swimming today. A few years ago the lifeguards used to write the daily water temperature on the white board that is found at the end of the pool....wish they would do that again. I'd prefer the water at 82, but I understand if you need to keep it at 81 for the swim team. 80 degrees is too cold as well, which is what I think the 'sanctioned' temperature is supposed to be, according to one of the lifeguards, so I consider 81 to be the compromise. Please don't go cooler than 81!! (I know that Monday was not a normal occurrence.)

By the way, the ladies who clean the women's bathroom do a terrific job! It's the other main thing I like about the Kennett YMCA compared to other facilities locally -- it's always so nice and clean!! I'm sorry I have forgotten to mention that in my past comments.

Ever since COVID hit, I don't use any machines at the Y (rowing/running). Too many other potential airborne illnesses in a room with that people/space ratio. I used to clean with the provided disinfectant, but had forgotten about airborne illnesses. I just stick with the pool now.

Great instructors in every group class I have taken. Facility is always clean and the variety and times of classes meet all my schedules.
