The Kennett Branch offered a Beginners class in Tai Chi, no other branches offer it. The YMCA web description doesn’t address if you can sign up for a regular Tai Chi offering.

There is such a variety of programs. Something for everyone! The womans locker room is always very clean which especially at this time in our world is so important. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The clients who go there are very pleasant and sociable. Pickleball has opened up an entire new group of friends. Really enjoying my membership.

The diverse nature of the activities, the excellence of the equipment and staff, the wonderful pool, and the fact that all ages use the facility.

I had been a member at the Kennett Y in the past so I know that the programs are good. We go to SC for the winter months and over the winter I discovered pickleball down there. I re-signed up for a family membership in order to play pickle ball with my daughter and my grandchildren. The whole pickleball signup is a nightmare. I must have spent 3 or 4 hours already trying to sign into the pickleball den app and getting my grandson signed into the app so that he can be rated in order to play a family game of pickleball. Whatever happened to just going out to the court and hitting the ball. The fact that you have to be rated in order to play is backwards in my view. While I have not participated in a few months, have always found the YMCA staff very helpful and pleasant. There are many varied activities, classes and events offered.

You have amazing instructors. Now that we have to sign up online and be checked in upon arriving, I feel we have been able to connect to them on a different level. A more personable experience.

Great instructors and very nice facility. Always clean and well organized.

I liked the amount and quality of the Spin bikes and the cardio and lifting equipment in the first floor. I liked the 8 lane pool for swimming; the pool was fairly warm too. The other programs are )yoga, etc..) are adequate for us as well.

there seems to be something foe everyone of different ages

The variety of activities and the flexibility to fit exercise into one’s schedule. The feeling of a community within the classes. Importantly as well , is the fact that as a senior citizen I still feel comfortable in the Y. The focus is on everyone at every age.
